From ‘Liberalactivismnow” on youtube:
Many opponents of LGBT rights think marriage should only be between one man and one woman. But not Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-KS). As he told his colleagues on the floor of the House Tuesday evening, “There’s a third person in your marriage.” He was, of course, referring to God. Huelskamp was speaking out in support of National Marriage Week, which aims to strengthen individual marriages, reduce the divorce rate, and build a stronger marriage culture.” The group also believes recognizes “in particular that social science is clear that children are best served when they grow up with both a mother and father.”
After explaining why he believes it is so important for kids to have both a “mommy” and a “daddy,” Huelskamp finished his remarks by speaking directly to all those (straight) married couples out there watching him on C-SPAN.
“Marriage can be tough. It really is,” he said. “But God is calling you to do everything you can. It’s just not you and your spouse. There’s a third person in your marriage. And God would like to bless and protect that marriage, and give you many fruitful days ahead.”
